A desperate plea to find a new engine for my broken baby!

Broke down on the M4 last weekend. Discovered that i have a large hole in the front of the crank case just behind the starter motor. (no wonder the slow lane was covered in oil after me)

Have been told by the garage that i need a new engine, but where to find one? I dont have a clue where to look, but i know the price is going to sting me :(

Please help me!
