Hi all, Ive just started to lacquer my new race body work and I have a couple of runs in the lacquer.

Is there any way of removing these???

1800 wet and dry on a wooden block.

Wet the W+D with soapy water and gently rub down until just the run is gone.

Then get something like farcela G10 to bring back a bit of a shine followed by a proper polish and then a couple of coats of wax to make the paint work more slippery and more aerodynamic!!!!:D:D

1800? That's pretty fine, I used 1500 for final finishing (before G3 and G10) and 800 for runs... Always wet of course.

I'd rather take longer with 1800 and garuntee that the scratches can be polished out rather than sarting with somthing more course and then having to go down tp 1500 before yu even pull out the poolish

Fair enough. I find doing coarse work with fine paper just annoys me and I get careless :D
