Saw an add on telly last night ... 10% off everything at homebase this weekend ...

Great you might say ....

No, not for me ...

I spent ?86.94 there on Thursday .... FFS :rolleyes: ... that's nearly a tenner I could still have had in my pocket!! :smt091

Irritating or what ... anyone else ever down anything similar? i.e. buy stuff at full price and the very next day (or so) it gets discounted?? :mrgreen:

I could have bought ~100 miles worth of petrol for my bike with that!! :cry:

Here, one of the things I bought at Homebase was a new ball-c0ck thingy for one of my my bogs (they are not ball c0cks these days, but you know what I mean ;)) .... so this money quite literally went down the toilet!!!! :D

I just bought a front fairing on friday at 12pm for £125
Went on ebay at 6pm and saw a front fairing , plus , chin fairing , clock surround , indicators and headlights with a buy it now for £150
That would have been two spare infill panels , new indicators and new headlights for £25 more .

BUGGER !

Blue, take it all back tomorrow, saying there's something wrong with all of it. Demand a refund, in full.

When they give you your money back, thank them, and walk around the store, picking up everything you just returned. Then proceed to the checkout, and pay, claiming your 10% discount.

Thought about that ... but to be fair ... I'd struggle to get away with saying all 6-7? items needed returning!! :D
