Not touched my car for over 2 weeks now

Not a big deal I hear you all say but normally I take the car when I see clouds (yep fairy biker). But since I put ?66.00 of diesel in my car 2 weeks ago I loathed to drive it. My SV will run a month on that not a week even if I gun it which I dont. I got a waterproof overall screwed up under the seat I can get into quickly if needed. Seriously considering cashing in the car tax until the frozen depths of winter.

Quids in all the way. Lovely:-D

Bikes rule

Welcome to the club. Commuting by bike makes sense in so many ways. Even in winter.

I sold my car last year and haven't really missed it it all. I had to get the train to work sometimes over winter which was a PITA but other than that I'm glad I sold it!

Hell, you can even ride through winter :D get some nice warm textiles, some heated grips fitted and handlebar muffs for when its really cold. You'll only ever need your summer gloves (retain feel and hence control of the bike) that way, and your wallet will thankyou for it aswell :D

I haven't used mine since January. My son has used it for work, but now he has a firms vehicle, so mine is just sat on the front rotting away :(
