Ccna
Did somebody mention at the pub the other day they were thinking of doing a CCNA?
I've just been going through boxes and found a complete set of INTRO/ICND books and course documentation which I can lend out if it'd be useful. |
Re: Ccna

Re: Ccna
Ahh the CCNA.
Had one - in fact I still claim I have one, you see, when I did mine, Cisco hadnt realised that their certification should be a revenue stream (they still made kit that people wanted to buy then) Then some bright spark came up with the idea of expiring them, meaning that you need to buy more books/do more courses and sit more exams. Its a treadmill thats best avoided, and MOST employers these days realise this - I have met people with CCNA's opbtained recently who hade never even TOUCHED a piece of Cisco kit before getting it- they did it all on Simulators. Once you needed 2 years experience to do the certification, now all you need is a pirated copy of the "Get you a CCNA" course. Its all just a joke. That saying, there IS some useful info to be had in those books |
