Re: I want to get the horn

Have a look at THIS THREAD first....... No more work involved - in fact a bit less for more reward........

In the words of an elderly lady that heard the 139dB beast some 100 or so yards across Morrisons car park "fookin hell!" (HONESTLY)

Available from HERE or your local Halfwits. Remember it's TWIN horns running from one compressor and all integrated into one smallish lump.

Yup, I've got a pair of them on mine. Mounted one either side on the rad mounts - just made a litle bracket to move them forwards.

No issues wiring them up, and they don't sound too bad. Had them on for approximatly a year so far and they are still going strong.

For the price, you can't really go wrong. :thumleft:

I see that you have a naked bike. That makes finding space easier but I'd suggest using one of the radiator brackets. Wiring etc will be identical on either bike. Hold the horn in position near various bolts around the front end and see how it looks. Take into consideration suspension travel and steering lock etc.

Good luck,

Garry;)

Re: I want to get the horn

On this subject, I recently re-fitted the stock horn to my bike (in addition to the 2 Stebel Magnums and twin Fiamm marine airhons). It changes the pitch slightly, and makes it even louder.

So loud, that the WVM yesterday visibly sh*t himself when he tried to pull out on me. :smt036

Some of us already know. :)

Have fun fitting it, and remember to not inform the guy doing the MOT next time. That's always good for a laugh if you stay & watch the MOT. :)
