Accommodation advice IOM TT 2009

Anyone on here recommend any places for accommodation for the first weekend of the TT? Unfortunately cant do the full week but there are 7 of us in total (2 couples, 3 others - all family) looking to get somewhere booked ASAP in Douglas.

As Ive never been before, I would prefer some recommendations rather than just booking anywhere. We are looking to go on the friday and come back on monday to catch the weekend action

anyone? Theres got to be people on here who have been and can offer advice? Dont mind if the 7 are split into 2 groups.
