Big Big Big Big thank you to Spannerman

Hi All

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Spannerman and give him a little endoursement.

Got up at 5:45 and rode from Worcester to Mansfield. Then spent the whole day chatting and servicing my bike with him. Was brilliant to get involved with the full service and I have learnt soooooooooooooooo much.

Anyway, means I can service it myself from now on .

As well as the servicing I also had a blast and we laughed all day. Was there from 8:25 till 6:30, got savings on all the parts and a reduced labour charge. Only actually worked for about 4-5 hours as spent the rest larking around and having a laugh. :D Top bloke.

Cheers matey, will deffo be up again and will probably come up for the Hagon springs when can afford them.

Cheers

Drew

Morning old Boy.

Glad you made it home safely, & that you enjoyed the day, & learned a fair bit too.
Sorry for all the bad puns that were flying around, but I usually react like that when folks tell me I'm ancient looking.....Weathered wasn't it:D.

Cheers.

Are the springs to put in the forks Drew, or to use to bounce off stationary vehicles. :p:D

Quote:

heads up here lads. there's a guy who posts on the sv forum quite regular, he seemed a good bloke from a distance, you know the sort. anyways, in a moment of weakness i said that i'd give his bike a quick once over, as a favour, nothing too heavy. well fck me, he brings his dilapidated pice of junk over and then continues to hang around for the best part of 12 hours! jeez would he get the message? would he heck as like. kept going on a bout "can you do us a few quid off for this, labour is mates rates isnt it.." and to top it all he wouldnt stop grinning, i reckon he's a bit simple like. kept chucking me spanners about. he posts under the name drew carey, avoid him.

cheers guys

I detect a gentle wind up going on here! Well not so gentle infact!

Tell 'em all to bugger off Andy, most of them have most likely done their fair share of bouncing off vehicles & the like. Let me know when you want those springs & we'll sort it.

I don't know where that quote came from I haven't been on visordown for donkeys! (Mainly as there are more Tarts on there than on here, & that's saying something!):D

Cheers.
