Hi, another newbie looking for my saviour.

I am a born again biker, well I have been for the past 2 years, and I have been visiting the site for a while now looking for information and I have eventually decided to become a member. Hi!

1) The site was brought to my attention by a guy that pulled over and helped me out with a dead SV on the side of the A419 in February, he said if I ever had any queries with the SV to come on here as you are all friendly and helpful. I have found this out already. I would like to start off and say thank you to the guy, think he was Darren or Daniel, for not only going a few miles with a coke bottle to get fuel but on his return he actually followed me to the pumps to make sure I got there ok with the little bit he sourced earlier.

I am sorry that I have forgotten your name, I owe you a good pint. Can anybody help me out by tracking down this man;

White Arai helmet, grey white and black leathers, awesomely trick SV with yellow bodywork (race bike 2 piece type), and the most deafening yet fantastic roar from the exhaust which drowned out my standard exhaust even though he was about ten metres behind me.

2) I am also looking at having some work done on my SV650SK4, obviously a can is definitely on the list now but what other tuning things can i do to give me a little more omph...

Welcome to the site. Wasn't me either, but then with a Silver pointy it was hardly likely to be :D

Just to keep with the the current theme, it wasn't me either, but I have to say, I am not suprised in the slightest. We ARE a friendly bunch. Welcome aboard, I am sure the person you mention will make himself know in due course.

Welcome to the site and have fun. :cool:

Oh well he seems to have fallen off the edge of the world. Any suggestions on what to do to get a little more oomph from a SV650SK4, it is completely standard at the moment.
