The Yamaha-branded Deus Ex concept is worn as an exo-skeleton with seven artificial vertebra as well as the pneumatically attached helmet. The motor is in-wheel, powered by ultra-capacitors and doped nano-phoshpate batteries similar to those already used in hybrids. It's also capable of 0–60mph in three seconds. Top speed is 75mph with a recharge time of 15 minutes and cycle time of one hour.

Fold the front wheels in & push them forwards a bit.

If they can produce a lightweight electronic vehicle like that, then they can surely produce a proper normal framed motorbike powered in exactly the same manner?

I would buy a bike like that for commuting, 1hr journey time and 15 minutes to charge yet does 0 - 60 in 3 seconds and does 75mph which realisticaly other than very breifly I dont get above whilst commuting as its constant traffic anyway.

When I was looking at possibly restoring/rebuilding an '83 VF750F I came across this

Having recently had a go of an off-road segway and being pleasently surprised (they don't feel anywhere near as gay as they look), I would be interested in a go on one of these. Width of the wheelbase means it's be much worse at filtering than a bike, mind. Still, nice concept.
