About Mini Motos?
 

We have managed to acquire a mini moto for PJ though I need to get it running first. Now it seems in good nick, but it looks like it had a impact that has damaged the electrics, but I thought I'd just check with someone here before I try to sort it.

This is the broken switch, is it meant to be a kill switch? Also is it earthed on the frame or something?

This is the choke and fuel tap, but which way is on for the fuel?

Here is the look of the bike, there is a crack on the front mudguard that will need fixing.

So its been put away for now, else little man will want to fiddle with it.

Hi me and Blue Race ours ( and i win!)

Looks like a chinsse Bike to me, if you get into racing you will find they are very slow to the other bikes

the chinese bikes are fine to start with but you realy need a bike that handles!

Well it cost me nothing so I can't grumble, plus its really for PJ.

That is indeed the kill switch, earthing it will KILL the engine, so don't be doing that if you are trying to start ;)

The cags tend to have a white fuel tap, make sure that is in the 'open' position. (pic #3 ... looks closed at the mo ;)).

Take the plug out and see if you have a spark, if you do, then you are onto a good start 8)

p.s. Suz, we don't race them and I think you will find I am faster than you ;)

For sure it is 'game on' ... but we kinda 'trackday' them more than race them!! ....

With given bike and weight combinations, I'd say we were both exactly the same speed to be honest!! 8)




But we both know you weigh significantly less and have a faster/better bike to boot ... so you should be a fair bit quicker ... but you are not!! ;)
