guess the price

So i went to look at a red pointy last night. not exactly what i was looking for, (blue fully faired curvy was what i wanted.) but i ended up buying it anyway!

so the question for you all is how much do you think i paid!

it was a private sale for a 2005 plate sv650s, it has a belly pan, data tool alarm, battry optimiser, there isn't a mark on it, i couldn't even see on stone chip! the reason for this is that it has done a total of 58....yes you read that right 58 miles!! :smt118

so how much do you think i got it for??

You got a cracking deal. It should really be about what Plowsie says for a super low mileage one.

I said 2500 because I'm a reknowned tightwad, and that's all I would have offered....I tell a lie, I'd have offered 2000 and been haggled up to 2500

Cracker of a deal as said by Lozzo. With all them extras, yes its low mileage but that means its been sitting about too ;) But still woulda been about right for 2700-2800.

+1 to that, even if it looks like it doesn't need doing, change it all.

Re: guess the price

when you say change the fluids, which should i do...

oil + filter
water
break fluid

all of the above? anything i have missed?

i'm picking it up in a couple of hours and i'm off on holiday from friday so it will be sat in my garage for a while, have to sort out insurance and that when i get back from holiday so i'll change them all over when i get back and while i'm waiting for for the insurance cover note to tax it!

just wanna ride the damn thing!! Grrr why is there so much red tape and stuff!!
