2 fines in 2 days
So, when I decided to get on the bike and ride into central London last week I did not think it could be this expensive. 2 x £60 fines.
I seem to have riden into two areas that are for buses only. On both occasions I was in heavy traffic and was lost and could not see the sign due to a bus being in the way. On both occasions I realised my mistake and quickly and safely came out of that lane. Do I have any right to appeal, apart from any moral right I have for simply making a mistake? Matt |

Re: 2 fines in 2 days
No leg to stand on mate, I tried to get out of a parking fine on reasonable grounds (I parked outside my own house in a dead end off another dead end! In nobodies way!) but they don't see it as that, just right and wrong. Bad luck :(

Another reason why, one day, very soon the government will all be killed. Probably by me, and with a rusty spoon. It's outrageous mate. :smt011

Re: 2 fines in 2 days
But hasn't The Hair of London allowed bikes to use the bus lanes?

Re: 2 fines in 2 days
wander over to www.pepipoo.com and they will be able to tell you whether you can appeal or not. I assume you've already paid. If you haven't there is more you can do, and head over there asap.
