Replacement bolts

My SV has had most of the original bolts replaced by the previous owner.

He also took off the footpegs and replaced the pillion seat with a cowl. When I came to re-attach the pegs / seat yesterday, I realised the bolt that holds the beowulf can to the footpeg wasn't long enough (there was a seperate, much thinner bracket holding the can where the right footpeg used to be).

I ended up going to B&Q to try and find a replacement, but the only thing close was a roofing bolt with a phillips head (all the other bolts on the bike are allen head).

After finally fitting it all and putting the bike away, I saw the original can sat in the corner of the garage and found the oem bolt I needed along with a fancy nut/washer combo - but it's corroded to hell. Where can you buy decent replacements?

Chris at Chewy's Stuff should be able to sort you out with a replacement.

Take a look here: http://www.chewys-stuff.co.uk/

If you can measure what size of bolts you need, this website is brilliant

Also try popping down to parker's if you have one near you, they're excellent at getting the right sized bolts. I went there and picked up some anodised bolts for my footpegs for a grand total of 7 pence.
