I've got a pair of EBC Pro-lites on mine, and they look the bees knees. You can get a wavey pair for about £30 more - I paid something like £200 for my pair of discs, but these were at a bit of a discount.

Pads-wise, go with some EBC HH Sintered...plenty of stopping power, very easy to apply tiny amounts of pressure for fine control, slightly pricier than normal pads, but you're looking at brakes here, not something you'd want to skimp on unless you've got an excessive love of hedges :)

If you do any sort of milage, then dont get EBC HH's, they are very hard on the discs. Corbonne Lorraines roads pads are fine (Also sold by Hein Gericke under thier own branding). In all honesty, the same stopping power as the HH's without the disc munching porperties.

As for discs. Dunno. I find the stock discs good enough after 56000 miles. (ok, on my second set (second hand)) but still stop well.

I commute all year round on SV's and I don't have any problems with EBC HH pads, think of it this way if they wear more then they are causing more friction and unless it has changed recently this is the whole process/propose of the braking system to effectively stop you!

The EBC discs are good, but you can pick up new OEM's cheaper! As for EBC's wavy disc's, well the ain't wavy they are like Kawasakis Petal discs!

For wavy discs the best to go for are Braking or Galfer.

I had these before the front end swap and they were as good as OEM discs and were great with EBC HH pads all year round commuting

EBC prolites rust like **** and i wouldn't buy them ever again...but they do perform very well
