Moving on up...

Evening all.

Apologies for not knocking before I entered.

In an effort to cover all bases (and I can't quite work out which area is most "northern" in this section) heres a little something I made earlier:

On the offchance that there are any readers in the northern borders of Cheshire.....any recommendations for landlords/lets are most welcome.

Thankya all

As you were ;)

Sale, Alty etc are pretty expensive mate. How you planning on getting work too Manchester?

Expensive? We live in the south of England where it costs a pound an hour to use the local ASDA car park each weekend. I don't believe any sensible bod north of watford would tolerate that from the local council!?

You asking how I'm planning on getting to work? Or how I plan getting work? Both bases are covered, don't worry about that ;)

--Anyway, the jobs in Trafford, few mins from the Trafford Centre

Sorry - easily confused.

Ooops, wasnt very clear there in what i was asking, apologies. I was wondering how you planned to get to work e.g train, bike, car as to how important location was in your accomodation search. Sale good for the Trafford Centre area as right on the M60 and A56.

No problem.

The intention is to take the bike to work, more often than not. Car on other days as/when needed.

Alty and Hale really are that expensive! Think footballer wages, honest! Urmston is a good place, I cover it for work. Stay away from the Wigan postcode area 'cos travelling into M'cr is a nightmare from the west.

Thanks Pete, we're looking at a few places round Urmston this weekend.

I got confused recently between Irlam and Urmston. There seems to be a bit of a difference.

Warrington, despite its recent bad press, is a good area tbh, only 25 mins or so from the trafford centre area, this might give you an idea http://www.warringtonguardian.co.uk/homes/forrent/

I'll vouch for Warrington to be a good place to live.

Unfortunately, I live there, which is a major downside to the majority of residents.
