Re: Goodwood Festival of Speed 2008
Nice :D
I like the cropped pics where you couldnt see over the bails - that blur caused by the tops of the bails at the bottom of the picture adds a nice effect, at least it does for me Nice to see steve hislop's boost yamaha out |

My sister is down at this. She phoned me when the F1 cars were hooning past, just to rub it in a bit. :(
Love the rally pics in HDR. Thats an amazing effect with the dirt swirls. |

Re: Goodwood Festival of Speed 2008
Great use of HDR there Sam. Do you take all your shots in RAW format and what camera are you using. I'm a bit of a photography novice and would be happy if you could include some details along if you can like ISO, speed & aperture settings. Thanks for sharing. I really love to see you artistic and beautiful images. Thanks!

Re: Goodwood Festival of Speed 2008
Thanks All!
Zankus, for the action shots i was using my canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS USM L lens, for the closeups i was using the stock lens which is the canon 18-55mm but i have an attachement which is a 0.42 wide angle lens which gives some fun results. I was using a canon 400D. Most settings were done on Aperture priority (AV) Aperture set at around 2.8 - 3 as i needed the higher shutter speed, ISO is 100, i very rarely use anything higher than 400ISO. The processes to get them to look like the drawing ones aren't HDR's they were just played in photoshop until i got the result i wanted from using different filters :) the only HDR (and its a true one) is the GSXR at the top in my first post :) |
