Hurrah for the cavalry
Just in case anyone gets a puncture...
I got one coming home from work last night (in the fast lane of the M1, not fun) I called 'the cavalry' this morning. I think its Jim (but don't quote me) but he's on 07974260311. We established over the phone that I needed a new tyre because the hole was within a couple of inches of the plug he'd put in for a previous puncture. He asked me what tyre I wanted and picked one up for me on the way to my house. He called to say when he was 20 minutes away and when he was outside and got the job done in no time. If you haven't got the tools to do the job yourself he's an excellent guy to ask - he goes all around London. I'm really appreciative because the whole episode last night wasn't much fun. I've got AA roadside assistance which doesn't include getting you back home after you've broken down unless your within 10 miles. Although the guy from friendly services did take me anyway because he was a really decent guy (so i'm v grateful to him too) Plug over ;) mary |

Yes, he's well known to many of us... but well worth the reminder!

Re: Hurrah for the cavalry
maybe super heros need to maintain a facade of being normal so get the odd puncture fixed - that way we won't suspect their super powers.....
