The big 3 supermarkets have started a price war on fuel, unleaded down 5p a litre and diesel down by 3p ....Story http://news.aol.co.uk/supermarkets-l...02391150903823

yep if its going down then the goverment will slap there 2p tax hike on it soon!

Utter bolloxs really......

I filled up this morning at sainsburys....no difference.

The thing that boils my **** the most is that they are making out they are DOING US A FAVOUR.........they fail to mention completely that the price of oil has dropped $25 in the past week.

So all they are really doing is stopping their profiteering.

agreed............. but at least they are dropping it (if only by a few pence)

Nah that's completely wrong. Forecourt sales of fuel only net a couple of pence profit per litre - hardly profiteering.

If you're anoyed about fuel prices then the government is to blame, noone else - they take 80% of the money you pay on fuel.

And less than 4 years ago lol......I cant remember what price it was when I started driving in 2000.......50p comes to mind, but I'm not sure.
