Hagon suspension with a pillion?
Does anyone have a hagon rear shock and take out pillion riders? I know it can get bumpy on the back anyway, but how is it with this suspension? I'm considering the Hagon stuff but I'm regularly two up so don't wanna make it unbearable for them?
Cheers, Tom. |

Re: Hagon suspension with a pillion?
Im Indoors took me out on mine with the Hagon set up a few weeks back. I'm just short of 10 stone. It were ok for us. It similar to the OEM (but better)
I've got Hagon front and rear on the yellow SV and I'm more than happy with it |
Re: Hagon suspension with a pillion?
Good morning.
I have been supplying Hagon products for years, & have found them to be an excellent alternative to standard shocks. You may have to make minor adjustments to the damping to find the ideal setting when carrying a pillion, but other than that you should have no problems. Cheers. |

Re: Hagon suspension with a pillion?
Good morning.
Hagon shocks are intended as a replacement for the standard shock. However, as they generally out perform the standard item you should have no issues when using your bike on the track. Cheers. P.S. Did I mention that I can give a 10% discount on them.:D |
Re: Hagon suspension with a pillion?
I've found my Hagon rear fine for trackdays and trips to the 'Ring riding in the inters group, so although not the fanciest shock it's good value as a new replacment. If you're going to be riding with a pillion often it may be worth looking into a shock with remote preload and damping adjustment to make the tweaking between with and wthout pillion a little easier.
