Re: rennsport road vs pilot sport
Rennsport is very, very sticky- it's about comparable with the Pilot Race rather than the Sport. What's better on the SV is a different question, I wouldn't fit either for the road, too short-lived and like most folks I don't use the stick. You can get your knee down on anything these days.

Loving the Rennsports myself, I'm a convert to sticky rubber, just don't buy them all, I'm going to need one more rear this summer.....

Re: rennsport road vs pilot sport
I've used both and the Rennsport gives better feedback and confidence. I had the Pilots feeling like they were going to slide at times, but the Renns just keep gripping with no outward signs of moving around.
There's a set of Rennsport Roads in the garage waiting to be fitted to my SV, they came off my CBR trackbike. They've done something like 8 or 9 trackdays in inters and fast group, still have bags of tread left in the centre and don't slide around, but as a precaution I took them off and fitted some new Rennsport RS1 and RS2s instead. The old ones willl be fine for the way I ride on the road, so on the SV they go. |
