Got told about the Southsea bike meet, first Weds eve of the month... is this something peeps from here go to? I've not been to Southsea yet...

It would be easy for me to get to. Where is it exactly? The meeting point, not Southsea?

I have been there the last two months and has a large turnout of various bikes and lovely view of isle of wight etc.

Head for Portsmouth and then head for Southsea.

The bikes take over the car park behind the Fun fair.

Tends to get quiet after 9.

Get there from 7 onwards and bikes come and go most of evening.

Free tea as long as you donate to the collection box.

Good collection of bikes and if sunny worth a ride along the length of Southsea sea front.

same night as the alton one, people meet at wickham, one load goes to alton other go to southsea

Aha...can't do it August though, as have the funeral up in North Camp, but defo up for it another time!!! Do they still do the North Warnborough/Odiham bike meet 1st Weds of month too... I must admit, I haven't been to that or Alton cafe for a looooooooong time.

they have a track day coming up next month i think or in sept, 20 quid and unlimited access to the burger van if you marshal :cool:

Its been going on for a while now, they even do a big ride along the seafront and stop at Calarence Pier.

If it's dry this Weds night I may pop along...(to Southsea that is)
