Newbie saying hello
 

Hi!

Long-time lurker, first-time poster, based in SE London.

I've just picked up my shiny new black K8 SV today, having passed my DAS on Wednesday. I love it already - even though I'm taking it really easy for the running in period (which applies to wet-behind-the-ears me as much as the bike!).

My god, it's been an intense week of riding.... my hands are little more than claws at the moment! :D

Hopefully I'll be getting to meet some of you on rides out and stuff in the future!
