Anyone work in Insurance on 'ere?
Just been thinking about the possible outcomes of my day to court :farao: if/WHEN I'm finally contacted about it (See 101mph in a 60 for full details!).
Would anyone be able to give a bit of a clue as to how an Insurance company would view either Points, say 3, 6 or 9 etc, or a short ban? I understand that both will make my premiums go up, but I'm interested to know how/if they're worked out? e.g. is it Normal Insurance Cost = £500, plus say X% per point or something? :money: :money: :money: Not that it really matters, it's out of my hands what I'm given but it would be good to have an idea of what I'm facing afterwards! |
Re: Anyone work in Insurance on 'ere?
would depend on each insurer's risk profile, no standard formula i'd have thought...
try applying for a few quotes from www.confused.com or similar declaring whatever indiscretions you want and see what it's going to cost you... |
Re: Anyone work in Insurance on 'ere?
ban will affect you more than points tbh hun, 3-6 points wont put alot if anything extra on your insurance (depending on the company though), 6+ points you could be looking at paying more but again cant say how much.
