What's it worth?
I'm currently interested in a naked SV650 but a little worried about the high mileage - it's a '99 T reg with 36k in the clock and apparently needing a new clutch. Do you think ?1k is too much for this?

600-700 max

You don't need to worry about high mileage SV's.

I'd say just under a grand. Sort the clutch out & you could get more, but that's only really going to be worth it if you can do most of the donkey work yourself. |
Re: What's it worth!
Thanks guys, it's a bike I'm looking to buy rather than sell. I thought the £1k tag may be a bit high, especially with it needing a new clutch... we'll see what happens.

Re: What's it worth!
I sold my K1 a while ago. 36K miles with FSH a good load of extras ( can, screen, undertay, sctoiler, alarm, hugger ) with 12 months MOT and 6 months tax. It went for the asking price of ?800 so I agree with the others ?1K is probably a bit high.

Re: What's it worth!
Too much. Its not in full working order so it is a "fixer upper".Price it accordingly as you cant take it for a test ride to see what else needs doing.I would say less than ?500 depending on what the rest of it looks like.

Re: What's it worth!
That's not a high milage bike :D But, be wary of buying it with a problem- that's not a lot of miles for the clutch to be toast. If it's an easy fix as the seller will say, then he can get it fixed easily.
