Captain Nemo rejoins the V Twin fold

Well, after a few years in the inline 4 wilderness ive rejoined the bretheren of the Vtwin :D

This afternoon i pick up my shiny new (to me) Aprillia Tuono, in evil black, and from this evening i will be visible mostly on the back wheel hooning round yorkshire :smt028:evil:

the bike is 95% hooligan, 5% donner kebab, bit like me cept other way round..........

ive chopped in the CBF1000 i bought in May (mistake , dont ask), and im keeping my battle weary ZRX1200S for more sensible stuff, The Tuono is for Marky fun, and most will be pleased to hear will not be being enhanced by a top box or any other kind of purely practical frippery.

all i have to do now is name her :), oh and maybe tax her............

i had engine probs on the ZRX just before the TT, which meant it wasntgoing to be repaired in time, i had the idea that i would buy a new bike then either sell it or the ZRX afterwards,

i "thought" i wanted something pretty steady, then i got to the isle of man and realised i was still part man part hoolligan and the CBF that id bought just wasnt capable, it was fast, but anything over about 115 and it handled like a pig, i m just not ready for the pipe and slippers Honda, i

ts was pretty uninspiring, nothing major wrong with it, it just doesnt excite me, , and for the money that was in it i want to be excited, , so when i got the ZRX fixed and i realised that although similar to the CBF its better in almost every way (cept brakes CBF has excellent ABS)

ummed and ahhed for for a while then decided i would keep the ZRX for slighlty more sensible stuff dampo wet commutes, missus and anything requireing luggage

, and get something to hoon around on, so got me one of those Tuonos,, , to be fair it is slightly nuts, but in a god/evil way :p mwahhhahhaha

ill get some pics up when i can remember how to get in to my flickr account derrrrrr
