help with fork setup.
 

well my fork seals need replacing as there leaking slightly.
so i thought while i'm there i may aswell change the fork springs and oil to sort out the quite nasty front end!

wheres best place to source fork seals?
can you recomend any springs (to impove handling)? what sort of price am i looking at for springs??
when changing the fork oil, does the oil you want to put in depend on the weight of the rider???

i'm 9stone without gear, and its a 99 curvey S.

Racetech springs are good and they also make emulators which improve the handling even more.

Id think the standard springs would be about right for your weight.A cheap upgrade is to just change the fork oil and maybe try 10w.Amazing what a bit of damping does.

I'd agree with that. www.wemoto.co.uk sell fork seals if you want them, but if you've got old oil, and leaking fork seals the front will have been feeling pretty duff. Put it all back to standard and work from there :)

JHS racing in bristol do a hyperpro springs kit which is £115 delivered and i'd imagine they'd do the seals if you asked.

I've got basically the same bike and the stock springs are too soft for my 10 stone. Get stiffer springs, linear if you're going to ride solo mostly, progressive are good if you take apillion a lot. Also recommend the adjuster fork tops, you can retrofit these and JHS do a "kit" of them. Emulators go a long way to making them work like cartridge forks, actualyl give the compression damping a bit of subtlety, about £110 and you can fit them yourself.

Not worth doing unless you swap from solo to two up riding often.
