60mm slip on end can

my micron can is knackered, i had to repack it, and on of the bolts sheard off, and when i drilled it out i think i was drunk coz i cocked it up and well to end a long story short its knacked

the rest of the system is fine, but when it comes to mot time the can is blowing slightly, so i think i'm right in thinking that pretty much any slip on can with a 60mm fitting will fit, or is it 2"? :smt021

If it is still a SV650 K1 then I would say it is 2" inlet diameter for your Micron can to slip onto the Micron system and not 60mm.

i was drunk last nite, but yeah its a micron system so i think your right that its a 2" slip on, so anyone if they have a 2" slip on can that would be lovely

Most, if not all, of the budget UK exhausts will have a 2" inlet diameter...

Art, Scorpion, CCC, Poohflame, Fuel, etc...

well funny you should say, i bought a scorpion end can and link pipe (for a tt600) off fleabay, and well the diameter is about 1mm out, ie the scorpion cans internal diameter is about 1mm-2mm bigger than the external diameter off my micron link pipe, so it doesn't seal, even if you tighten the clamp up a bugger.

reckon theres a fix other than a botch? i was thinking expand the micron pipe work by a mm or so, with some sort of hydraulic pipe expanders?? dont really wanna start chopping it up, if its gonna come to that i'll sell the scorpion exhaust with link pipe whole and by a new micron rear can

Would do the trick nicely.

That is odd though as I have fitted a CBR600F Scorpion can onto a Micron SV system with no trouble.

yeah i thought it'd go straight on silly me,

have to see if i can get the pipe expanders, just dont wanna mess it up, as i could just get a micron end can which would definatly fit
