BMW F650GS doesn't need a front wheel

Poor design/manufacturing tolerances on the F650GS resulted in a weak front axle design, which will break with the slightest provocation. There's a story about someone else having his front wheel come off after a 50mph crash and a few others here and there. Certainly puts me off buying a BMW.

Sheesh.

That's awful- not what I'd expect from a BMW. My mate is about to buy another 650 Dakar (though it'll be on road safe driving and his last one did the job).
