Amazing really, she wins and is British - she lost in Athens after being touted (unfairly) as a medal prospect and was then Welsh :rolleyes:

I watched the swimming, I was sure that the Brits weren't in the hardware, and then Rebecca Adlington comes from behind - ooh it was exciting stuff:D

I been swimming 20 lengths a day recently- takes me about 15 to 20 minutes.

these guys would get across my gym 25metre pool in 15 seconds ! and be out after 5 minutes and 20 lengths.! crazy !

I know they dive in and flip turn which shortens the distance of swim and some are like 7 feet tall. but still. ! like dolphins

I just caught the highlights couldnt believe that she won because the other girl didnt finish with her hand outstretched!!!!.. sooooooo close!!
