How much protection would these offer?

I've got a set of Draggin Jeans/Hood jeans however I don't really find them comfortable. Just wondering how much protection you guys think this combination would offer:

Plus a set of knee proectors:

Plus an ordinary pair of jeans:

Thanks for any thoughts & advice.

on short hops i usually only wear jeans anyhow so added protection to that has to be a good thing.

armour + draggin jeans = better protection over the other normal jean + armour combo. wouldn't go out in normal jeans, they rip too easy in an off. The draggin jeans are made for the bike, and have been tested rigorously in a man being dragged behind a bike at some force.

Can't understand how you find the draggins uncomfy us northerners in Halifax practically live in ours

I have a pair of magic jeans that slid with me along the motorway at 65 or so, and they don't have a mark on them. Thin denim, too.

Was extremely lucky with them, I'll admit...and I've been saving for a pair of Draggin combats for a while ;)

Cheers for the replies so far. Yeah, I find the draggin jeans too tight around the thigh area, & loose around the waist. I usually ride in full leathers but if I need to pop up to Bluewater or into town to do something I feel a bit of a plum walking round in my full leathers.

A mate of mine gave it a little too much gas pulling away from the lights once & flipped off the back of his bike :smt044 & the knee on his normal jeans were torn to shreds & that was at 0 mph.

I think I will go for hip armor, i've got a massive bruise on my thigh from my stupid ass 20mph fall, dunno how low the armor goes though. Soon find out.

Re: How much protection would these offer?

I own a pair of the Forcefield shorts (aquired this spring) which I'll sometimes wear under my leathers depending on circumstances. I also wear them for snowboarding. I have the shirt & back protector too. I'd like to get me some of the knee projectors, but mainly for playing silly buggers on the snowboard.

I've not had the 'pleasure' of falling off the bike in the shorts, though I did recently drop the CG whilst not wearing them and that fuggin' hurt even at the low speed I was doing. After that I'm much more inclined to wear them.
