Ground Anchor Question

Hi guys I'm new here but i'm picking up my SV on saturday (Curvy SK2). Sorry if this is in the wrong section btw.

Anyway I bought an Abus Granit Ground Anchor and i need to get some bolts to put it into the ground with. I obviously know the diameter etc that they need to be as it says so on the box, however it shows like a sleeve that they go into in the ground.

I don't really know what they are / where i would get them from?

Any ideas, cheers guys

Re: Ground Anchor Question

Hardware shop (eg B&Q) for the bolts. Anchor bolts (funny, eh?) come with an expanding sleeve. As you turn the bolt clockwise (tightening it) the sleeve expands & holds the bold more securely.

Welcome to the house that is mad, don't feed the animals, and watch your back near the bear!

I fitted an oxford docking station for my sv, and it came with some of these. . . .

I fitted the bolts loosely through the ground anchor, and then set it in fresh concrete so the base of anchor wasn't exposed so you can't get a prybar underneath. When the concrete was fully set I tweaked the bolts up some, then there were some ball bearings to hammer into the hex head of the anchor bolts, and finally a cap to cover the bolt heads over.
