Track Try Out Days? Is there such a thing...

Probably abit of an odd question but anyway...

A few years ago when i was getting into MX, i did a Geoff Mayes Try Out day. Basically, you pay £180 or there abouts, turn up use their kit and bikes to get used to MX.

So my question is.. Are there any track days like this? If so has anyone got any links/info?

I appreciate that you can do alot more damage crashing a bike on a track than crashing an MX bike, hence why this might not be a popular thing!!

Thanks in advance

I think focused events offer a bike for £199 extra on top of the price of the day itslef. There is probably a crash waiver too. Pretty pricey but atleast it isnt your bike you will have to repair!

The patracking link i looked at is the same sort of thing. You book the track day, then rent a bike through them. Damage deposit (refundable) is £350. The Ron Haslam Race School seems a good deal, £269 bike (CBR600), kit etc. May give that a go next year!

There are a number of these kinds of firms. On No Limits trackdays you can use either Paul Russo's CBR600s, R6s or ZX6Rs, Ladysnoots bikes, or Smallboy Trackbike Hire's GSXRs.

I've seen a pay per session track day on here. Don't think they're very common but you could do that on your own bike to see if you like it.
