Got my bike test this afternoon!!
 

Hi all. :smt039

Getting a bit nervous now. Got my test this afternoon at 2:30.
I had been having a nightmare with my U turns, they were fine to start with but after putting my foot down once the gremlins started!
I found another thread about this and read some really helpful posts.
My last lesson was fine and I did quite a few turns and they were all fine.:D
I don't remember being this nervous for my car test? (That was 14 years ago when I was a Cocky 18 year old tho!)

Hopefully be out on the SV later!!!

Have a good one. Remember rev the knackers off of it to give more ballance and slip the clutch good. Though im sure you know that.

Press the button to cancel the indicators every few seconds (except when turning, or waiting at a junction - obviously!

You'll be fine. Treat it as another lesson.

Good luck for the test, however if you are touch and go on the U-turn, this close to the new test if it was me i would take it on a 125 and pass , ok i would be restricted but hey at least i had my licence before the new test came in.

good luck.

i sucked at u turns and on the practice run with instructor before test i put my foot down on all but 1 practice un turns. on the actual test i just used bit too many revs slipped the clutch less than i would and used the back brake to stop it tearing away. i got a minor for it but hey. this was more luck than judgement.

you will be fine. i noticed that the nerves kept my concentartion sharp and talking to yourself through all the stuff outloud helped me.

Thanks for the good luck messages!
I had been doing the U turns fine from the start on both 125 and 500's.
It was just the one time that I put my foot down that put doubt in my mind.
I know I can do them, it's just confidence (but not too much!!!)

Good luck with your U turn. I dropped down to the 125 and am restricted for two years, at least I can ride :D
