OMG - what have I done ?
 

As some of you might know, my kids play in a band called the www.cheshirecadets.org and next year we are organising our own band competition in Warrington, the upshot is that I have been asked to compere the comp with between 400 and a 1000 people poss turning up on the day, and Ive agreed to do it :shock: any hints or tips so I dont lurch into a bout of nerves induced tourettes ?

Ive got to spend about 8-10 hours behind a mic,announcing bands on and off the field.Plus adding bits and pieces of small talk to the crowd etc

Ah. sounds daunting, the bit about small talk. But introducing bands, thats not so bad, just hype it up a bit and it'll go ok!

Don't introduce the wrong band...
