smoking law in other Euro countries
 

Just wondering if any of the mighty org know anything about the above law.
Recently I was in Germany and Holland and saw some things that made me laugh.The best one was a German Polizei in his marked car ,as he pulled out of the station.With a ciggie stuck in his mouth and a fat ice cream cornet in his left hand.Is that allowed or was he just abusing his power ...lol.
He didnt even try to hide it as he waved to my young son.
had to be seen to be beleived.

Many European(and other)countries have a much more relaxed attitude to petty rules and regulations than we do.No one really cares if you have a fag when you shouldnt or exceed the speed limit or bend EU regs or whatever.Maybe thats why they tend to be happier than us and why their prison populations are so low by comparison.
