Under suits

I read about EDZ undersuits and wondered if anyone has used any alternatives. I know EDZ are recommended but they are quite expensive.

I saw some base layer tops and bottoms in an outdoor clothing shop ( Tresspass) and wondered if anyone has used them and if they are suitable.
Only reason i ask is there is a sale on at the moment and the items are really cheap.

Thanks

EDZ is £20 for the top and the bottoms are the same, they are meant to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer.

if its just to keep warm, i would get some thermals

The Tresspass trousers are about a tenner and the top i think is 14 quid.

I just wasn't sure if they would ahve the same effect as the EDZ stuff.

I just layup my clothes and make sure the is some room to trap the warm air from my body. If it gets really nippy I have been known to stop for a cup of tea.

I wear leathers nearly all the time and am sick of getting all sweaty when wearing them. So thought about under suits as an option to avoid my leathers smelling.

I wear nike or craghopper wicking gear under my textiles, very thin but seem to work quite well but nothing to compare them to as they're all ive used
