Re: insurance costs

no such thing as an average cost - postcode, age, driving experience, points, garage, security, occupation, annual mileage, commuting, other vehicles, and others all play a part.

Phone all the agents and try and bargin down the price - play them off against each other.

I found Devitts the cheapest, for what that's worth.

That's a good deal!

I'm 19, 0yrs ncb, clean licence, very good area and they want £1200!!

Guess the 1yrs ncb makes all the difference!

What makes a HUGE difference is age , if I remember correctly , hitting 21 and 25 drops a huge wodge off the premium as they think you are more responsible ......... and we all know thats a LOAD :D

Guess also the fact the bike will be new so insured at £4700 will make a difference, always forget that factor! :(

I generally hate insurance, paid out over £2k for last two year of insurance on the bloody car and not needed the insurance once!
