650 k5 speedo reading too high (double)
Hi i have recently bought a damaged K5 650, one thing that was missing was the clocks,i now have a replacement set but the speedo reads more than double what it should do.
Has anyone got any ideas |
Re: 650 k5 speedo reading too high (double)
Clocks from a different year set up for a different speedo rotor... try a rotor from the same year the clocks came from

Any one found the reason for this we now have the same problem after a dealer fitted a new sender.

.. take it back to the dealer

Re: 650 k5 speedo reading too high (double)
Just get them to fit a K4/5 rotor and it will sort it out as it has half the number of pick ups on it.

You need to match the sender on the front wheel to the same spec clocks. |
