SV650 Naked looking to get an S?
Well now Im doing more miles I fell Im needing a bit more protection. Does the S with lowers on give good wind protection. Or should I now get a winter hack and keep the SV for fun? I like the naked so will probably end up with two bikes again.

Re: SV650 Naked looking to get an S?
With a double bubble screen it really helps on the wind front. I'm not a short person, but I can really hide behind the screen and fairing well on my curvy, if that helps you
A standard screen and my head bobs about alll over the place, as i would imagine it does on a nakid |

Get a cheapo S model... they're as good a bike to hack on as any ... that way you've got lots of spares available

Does the S fairing and lights etc fit my nakes K3? I might have two bikes in one:-)

Re: SV650 Naked looking to get an S?
It's lots of messing around to make it fit, it can be done but it's not easy. I reckon on the curvy the easiest way would be to just bolt it on and leave the clocks on the yoke, no idea about pointy.

I have a screen but its pretty cack at protecting me at any speed. Will probably end up with two bikes again like last year.

I'm happy at 6 foot 2 with my curvy and lowers. Sat on the motorway 80mph but like dizzy my head bobs about a bit. Going to invest in a double bubble i think!

On a naked you don't get buffeted, as there's no screen there to cause turbulence.
