Would any other wheels fit an SV650 SK6 Sport.. like GSXR wheels?

The curvy sv rear wheel i no fits but you have 2 change the bearings and spacers not sure about the front curvy wheel.

i think the only chance of a gsxr wheel would be for the front as the gsxr will be a bit bigger on the rear.

Aye Gixxer 600 rear rim is 5.5" the SV is 4.5".

Insurance will be void if fitting an oversize rear that isn`t recommended by manufacturers , just bear that in mind if you have a prang and they come around to check it out .

Correct, same applies to fitting 70 on the front instead of a 60. The SV is only approved to run on 120/60 and 160/60 tyres.

Plus you will pay more for the rear tyres , and I seriously doubt you would make use of all that extra rubber you would be paying for , Stick with the same size .

No it won't, this isn't germany, we don't have universal type approval after sale. If you squeeze a 180 tyre onto a 4.5 rim, then you may have an issue (legal precedence here is poor, you only have to look at tyre stretching on cars to understand this) but if you fit a suitable wheel then fit a 180 tyre, and declare the mod to your insurer, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. As long you meet the construction and use standards, and are MOT legal, and declare modifications as required, you're fine.

120/70 is a suitable fitment for a 3.5" front wheel and will have no legal impact, but it might be enough for an insurer to start playing difficult (legality has very little to do with the early stages of a claim tbh).

If you have a prang and it is noticed you have an over sized tyre on there they will pick it out, especially if it could be a contributing factor. Insurance companies will do anything to not pay or pass the buck.

Yes, but a 180 tyre on a 5.5 rim is not an oversized tyre.
