I'd like to share these 2 presentations with you all , as we are made of the same stuff it applies to us all , however you must listen (not just hear) to what's being said and it will make sense to you , this is the reason i am not afraid of dying and chose to buy a bike as my next adventure (flying will always be a part of me)

How our brains work and how evolution has adapted every living thing on this planet to work in order to survive in "middle world" .

The second video is an absolute assurance that we do not die , we are simply using the molecules that make up our form until we no longer have use for it's function....It is my belief that once we can no longer use the molecules that make up our form we simply leave it behind and find a new set (in which case life begins all over again) ....It is a cycle that will repeat itself for many million years and beyond , i hope you enjoy them as much as i did .....

The thread is not about death , it is about life and how unavoidable life is no matter what we do ...most of life's predictability can't be seen and or managed like we would like to think it could be done , Death is simply a New Beginning at life .(just as a supernova is a dying star and explodes , within its self creates an entire Galaxy of new stars , there fore new energy matter),
The fact that "we" as Biological beings along with all other biological beings , animals, bugs and micro analogical existing beings share the same make up of who we are , the only difference is that we are programed to deal within our means to survive the reality which we see in everyday life . There is no such thing as Luck , bad Luck , good luck , faith , meant to be events , it is all based on probability....A real and useful way to explain what most have been taught since birth by their parents who followed the same path as their ancestors....For example you could say that the Sky Is Blue ...WRONG , In fact the sky is GRAY (look it up)

Nice try, but it's actually colourless. Given that it's just atmosphere.

The reason that we see it as blue (or red etc depending on the time of day) is due to light refraction and the angle of incidence to the sun (when the sun is "lower" in the sky, the sky appears red/orange, when it's higher, it appears blue).

Back to the topic... well, your belief is essentially that of re-incarnation. I personally believe that when time is up, there's nothing. The conscious (and sub-conscious) part of the mind doesn't survive the process of dying, and obviously the body doesn't either.

Essentially, we're either burned & released into the atmosphere after being broken down into carbon etc, or we're burried & eaten by worms.

Either way, I'm not afraid of dying either, and to a certain extent, any pain associated with it isn't a problem. The problem for me is whether the people around me will be prepared for it when it happens.
