bikecraft day with Northants police
 

Me and treacle had a brill day on sat thank to my work,northants police and northants branch of the iam,who got us places and had organised a bikecraft day at silverstone.
its a 3 part day, first part of the day is spent learning to do slow manouvers and slow speed races on your own bike, middle part is hazarad awareeness and a drink driving workshop and third part is cornering skills-which takes part on track :smt026

Basically you had to follow a very nice Police officer round so you could see where the best point to turn in/best view etc would on the road...and then your let out with them following you to see how you get on. (it was kinda like a "mini" trackday) :smt047

Feel alot more confident on the daytona now, and again big thanks to The guys that organised and run the day (which is FREE to anyone taking part)-they even turned a blind eye to my v loud and fire breathing race can :smt058

Yeah I know, the exhaust is pretty bladdy loud ;) :lol:

Your Dad seems a really good bloke and was really helpful and spoke to me about a couple of things to help improve my riding and think upon.

I see you met Leigh on the Ducati, she's lovely she is. We went out for a ride round Northants and Cambs together once.
