One of the founder members and the keyboard player of Pink Floyd.

Died today aged 65 and joined Syd in The Great Gig In The Sky.

Just bought "Live At Pompei" recently after seeing it years ago. My favourite vid/dvd. See where Deftones got their ideas for Minerva vid. See a singing dug. Love it.

It's very sad. Shine On You Crazy Diamond and Echoes are my 2 favourite Floyd songs- on both of which his performance and writing is particularly prominent.

I was messing about with a software MiniMoog just the other day, trying to nail that brass synth sound from Wish You Were Here. Just about got there too.

Those sounds have been a background to much of my life.

RIP Rick- have a drink with Syd when you get there.
