GSXR front fork end cap removal?

Hi

Probably me being a biff but i'm trying to swap my scuffed GSXR 750 K4 front fork end caps for my mates pristine ones from his crashed bike (thanks Jim). Unscrewed the cap all the way but it seems reluctant to come off. Don't want to force it in case i've missed anything.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Si

I think it's attached to the internals. I know nothing about the insides of these forks, mind.

Push tube down, IIRC these have connection to damper rod same as the SRAD series so you need to unscrew locknut and have adjuster in right place when you replace it so the adjuster screw works properly

Need right tools and need to know what you are doing.....nothing much to it really but can easy to make an erro or snap summin.

I don't even trust most shops to work on USD...a lot haven't got a clue about doing right. If you lived closer, I would have let you borrow my tools. In anycase if you do get it off, might as well change the fork oil.

PM me your email address and I'll email you the manual for it.
