If you head down to lands end the A30 is pretty good. Also there is a cool road leading off the A30 which will take you back to MensPants (penzance) along the coast. Real nice.

Also if you go to Lands End drop down into Sennen Cove which is the village just before you get on LE on the A30. It is stunning. 2 mile sandy beach. Great Pub great fish and chips etc. Fantastic place.

Bugger the A30!! Head out of Newquay on the road to St Ives and then on to lands End, it's fantastic. The take the B road to Penzance through Lamorna, it's so pretty.

I also like the road from Newquay to Falmouth, forget the name. Also nice is the road from Truro via Probus to St Mawes. You can then hiop back up via Veryan abd cross the River Fal on the King Harry Ferry. Very dramatic. The road on the other side is a bit boring but OK - goes through Feock and Truro.

I guess it might be a bit far to head off for Plymouth but the Torpoint twisties would be huge fun on a bike. I used to live in Saltash, I didn't have a bike in those days.

There are LOADS of fun back roads all over the place. Just go and discover stuff!

Warning though be careful, some dodgy roads too! :(
