basicly i want to know if k5 rear pannels will fit onto a k3 subframe thanks for help :)

Don't think so - slight change between K3 & K4> I think.

silver pointy subframe sits higher than the k4 onwards black frame.

K4's were silver framed to. K5 onwards are black framed. Subframe on K3's are different to K4 onwards bikes as you say though.

The odd subframe in the line is the K3's as it was only used for one year, other than that the only difference between K4-K8 is the colour. I'm not to sure if the panels are different though.
