IIRC

there is 2 bolts, holding it on?

have you tried tightening them?

(i may be wrong)

yea there is two bolts holding it on, they were tight and ive spaced tht plate with the two bolts out about quarter inch. it stopped hitting but it was only a matter of time before the fork park of the stand splayed out gain because the hole in the plate has gone oval with wear over the years.

i think the only remedy is to change the plate.

Have a search on Ebay, is it the plate or the stand you want?

To go new look for the part number here, and purchase it from here.

Going by the information supplied by Dangerous Dave the part number is 42330-19F01 and costs £61.80 new from Suzuki.

As he also suggested, try Ebay.

normaly its the single bolt that wears out and becomes sawtoothed, i changed mine worrying that one day it would snap.
