RST Cobra Vent Lid - Anyone got one?
Busters are knocking these out for £29.99 at the moment.
They get 4 stars on Sharp. Just not sure what size I need. Anyone had one? What was it like? |
Re: RST Cobra Vent Lid - Anyone got one?
Yer, I purchased one last week as a spare. Very good helmet for the price. All the padding can be taken out etc, has plenty of ventilation, visor doesnt steam up on me, although I have not worn it in the rain yet. Its a little noisy but nothing to bad, a great buy for the price. looks a lot more expensive than it is.
Taken a few pictures for you. I got a big head so im an XL, fits very well on me. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v204/DjacK/cobra.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v204/DjacK/cobra1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v204/DjacK/cobra2.jpg |

That looks the ticket, but I'm not sure which size I need. Do they vary across makes!

Re: RST Cobra Vent Lid - Anyone got one?
I can only comment on the 2 I have. My other lid is an AGV V-Flyer. The AGV seems to be a little looser. The Cobra vent being quite tight. But that could be down to the AGV being used more.

Cheating tip; go to you local RST dealer and try on the helmets, then buy a cheaper one online. |

Re: RST Cobra Vent Lid - Anyone got one?
Cheers Dave - been trawling for the last hour and managed to get an RST Cobra Vent 1940 for £25 + £4.99 p&p. 4 stars too that better than some arai ones.
Only shame is it is silver and not black, bike is mainly black there are some anthracite/silver bits though. Got a large my Nitro one is a large and I should've replaced it when I came off and whacked my head on the floor (almost a year ago). |
Re: RST Cobra Vent Lid - Anyone got one?
The sharp test isn't the be all and end all of how good a helmet is.

No, that is true, but as a guide it is a useful tool.
