handguards?
 

Has anyone added handguards to their (naked) SV? What make did you get? and do they really work. I have heated grips but that's only the palm of your hands. I have heated gloves but that is a lot of hassle.

Some owners have fitted the guards off of VStorm 650's, have a search...

Weld bit of pipe round bar ... pop rivet some carved up oil cans to front ... sorted :-P

Will be doing this soon hehe.

Thanks. I don't think they're going to fit if one of the attachments have to go between end of grip and bar ends. When I got my bike I asked the dealer to fit heated grips, they didn't do a good job and the grips are longer than the bars. I needed new bar ends (smaller one which I'm not happy about as they're smaller and lighter). Anyone any ideas/views?

Perhaps find a mate with a lathe to turn some slightly extended bar ends for you?

Can't you just move up all the switchgear etc up the bar a bit ?
